The seven piece group captured the sounds of the Colombian plains with a rich blend of rippling harp, cuatro, and bandola melodies. Virtuoso musicianship and youthful energy combine for an explosive twist on the traditional llanera genre. Cimarrón was nominated for a Grammy in 2005 and has performed on four continents in their twenty years as a band.
