William Cepeda was born into Puerto Rican folk music royalty, and has carved his own niche in Latin music with his unique interpretation of the rhythms and melodies of danza, bomba and plena and the folk music of the jibaro. He is an accomplished composer and trombonist, and he has collaborated with artists a diverse range of musicians including Tito Puente and Dizzy Gillespie.
