The Big Idea II is an exhibition that commemorated the fourth year of ALMA (Avanzando Lectura y Matematicas a traves del Arte/Advancing Literacy and Math through Art), which showcased the artistic knowledge and skill of Bruce-Guadalupe Elementary and Middle School students in 3rd through 8th grades. The range of students' experiences in ALMA during the 2013-2014 school year was displayed, including students' visual journals, images of lessons in progress and work with visiting artists, and student artworks. ALMA was made possible through a federal grant awarded to the UCC and BGCS in collaboration with UWM’s Peck School of Arts.
